At the core of our organizational values, morals, and ethics lies an unwavering commitment to empowering and advancing African Ancestry Communities through a multifaceted approach encompassing comprehensive support, advocacy, and education. Our esteemed team, comprising diverse specialists spanning disciplines such as mental and behavioral health, education, DFCS navigation, youth justice, and beyond, is deeply embedded within various African Ancestry Communities.
Since our establishment in 2014, we have remained steadfast in pursuing holistic assistance for youth and families entangled within the intricate networks of the Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice systems. From facilitating Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and 504 plans to forging connections between youth and critical resources such as tutoring, mental health counseling, and socialization aids, we tirelessly advocate for culturally sensitive interventions and educational initiatives.
We empower parents through targeted education, mediation, and seamless access to indispensable resources, equipping them with the tools to navigate these complex systems adeptly. Through our dedication, we endeavor to cultivate resilience, promote equity, and foster unity, thereby effecting positive change and transformation within African Ancestry Communities.
